I love a party - especially a girly, pink, giggly affair. The simple pleasures of balloons and cupcakes, tea sets and bare feet.

my island home

The pilot, seated less than an arms length, though two seats away from me, readied for the landing. The 8 seater, twin prop plane glided in beautifully over crystal clear, aquamarine waters, sparsely populated settlements and only one clearly defined road.......... a definite reminder that we were far from the bustling city we had left a few hours earlier. I got tapped on the shoulder and a little voice seated behind me said "I'm so glad we're home mummy. I'm an island boy you know."
